Yellow

I miss who you use to be before the pain, hurt , and misery .

Before the world turned cold and you felt alone even with those that love you right in your home.

I miss your beautiful smile, your one left dimple and squint of your right eye.

The freedom you once felt to live life truly for yourself.

I miss the way it felt when I first saw yellow from across the road; so young and so bold.

There was nothing to question , you bought forth such clarity.

I miss your heart beat and the way our souls intertwined.

When I was you and you were me, we were one entity.

Now the world feels so dark ; only grey, black and blue.

Oh yellow , how I miss you.
