I dined at Rum house on a whim.
It was a Sunday night, the place was packed.
I’ve always heard about how busy this spot is on a Tuesday because of the specials, I honestly didn’t expect the crowd.
Even with that, our wait for food and drinks was extremely reasonable.
And the food was absolutely amazing .
I ordered the small “Damn good nacho” appetizer and substituted the jerk chicken for shrimp. There was nothing small about it. Just looking at the mountain of food filled me up.
Everything on this plate was fresh. It was so delicious.
I really wanted a Sauvignon blanc but it isn’t served at this establishment so the waiter was kind enough to recommend the Tonino Mediterraneo , which is a chenin blanc, that I thoroughly enjoyed.
All in all this was a beautiful experience and I will absolutely dine at Rum House again.
