The beginning of this year I started to have feelings of discouragement about this blog. The views I wanted were not being achieved. There was actually a decrease between the views from 2018 and 2019. I saw this as failure , I was ready to give up.
The decision to sign off was not an easy one, this was my baby but things weren’t going the way I thought they should so it was time to let go. I didn’t want to continue pouring into my brand just to feel rejected. My sister Jazlyn and cousin Rickita encouraged me to not only keep going but to expand my brand. I agreed to give it one last try but not take the same lackadaisical approach I had before.
This time I gave Mona’s Moments everything I had. Not eating until I completed writing pieces, rebuilding my entire website without a clue of what I was doing, designing my logo and product lines with concepts that tied into the brand, producing three amazing series, and even creating as well as delivering my own merch while keeping up with the business side of things. The last 6 months have been a lot of work, almost non stop but I have literally watched my views double what they were in 2018 within that short time frame and now I’m even seeing a profit. I have not reached my goal but I’m on a visible path to success and the fire I once felt for collecting has been reignited .
The moral of the story is don’t give up on your goals and dreams. If you have found your passion keep working at it, continue to pour into it. Live it, breathe it , dream it. Anything is possible with hard work, dedication, and God .
You will Create your beautiful moment.
